Excedrin Extra Strength combines acetaminophen, aspirin (NSAID), and caffeine in an extra-strength formula for temporary relief of headaches and a range of minor aches and pains.

Active Ingredients

Each caplet contains:
• Acetaminophen — 250 mg — Pain reliever
• Aspirin (NSAID) — 250 mg — Pain reliever
• Caffeine — 65 mg — Pain reliever aid

Suggested Use

Do not use more than directed. Drink a full glass of water with each dose.

Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 2 caplets every 6 hours. Do not take more than 8 caplets in 24 hours.

Children under 12 years: Ask a doctor.

Important Warnings

This product contains acetaminophen, aspirin (NSAID), and caffeine.

Do not take with other medicines containing acetaminophen. Taking more than directed can cause serious liver damage.

Aspirin may cause stomach bleeding, and the risk can be higher in certain individuals, including people with a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding, adults aged 60+, or those taking anticoagulants, steroids, or other NSAIDs.

The recommended dose contains about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. Limit additional caffeine from medicines, foods, and beverages while using this product.

Storage

Store at 20–25°C (68–77°F). Close the cap tightly after use. Do not use if the inner safety seal is broken or missing. Keep out of reach of children.
